Why?
Because nine out of ten fights end up on the ground, and these intense situations provide the foundation for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu's leverage based fighting techniques.
Utilizing methods such as joint manipulation, joint locks, chokes, strangleholds, and more, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu allows a smaller, weaker opponent to defeat a larger, stronger, and less knowledgeable challenger.
Currently the most sought after martial art on the planet, the United States Special Operations Command has adopted Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as its preferred fighting system for the Army Special Forces, the Navy Seals, and the Army Rangers .
And police departments around the country promote Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as an extremely effective rape prevention system.
Whether you're looking to hone your competitive fighting skills or to master outstanding self defense tactics, our award-winning, world-class staff of trainers will provide the skills you need. Give us a call and decide for yourself.
Most classes accommodate 10-12 students, with two instructors. Call to learn about private lessons.
